Shocking enough to both national and international public opinion was the violent assaut deltoïdien by the arabiste makhzen to stilton public demonstrations in southern-east region(Boumal n Dades , Mesmrir, Qalaat mgouna , Tinghir …) this series of civil and pacific demonstrations recently broke out to denounce the process of oppression , impoverishment and seclusion policy deployed by elmakhzen since pseudo-independence ;especially against all that is amazigh ( civilization , culture , identity , language …)
The arabiste authorities disregarded investigative discussions with the people of the region, they rather launched aggressive assault on 6th january 2008 .this led to serious casualties and mortifying arrests among civilians .fourty of those under arrest are students, unemployed, women, juveniles…on the 8th all of ait moulay said brahim, abd ennaser charif, oubaali lhousain, outil Mustapha, Mimoun chawki, el wardi Mustapha, ait hsain med, ourozan Ibrahim, oudali younes, and the minor Child el djik nourddine were set before court in warzazat .they were charged with sacrilage, unallowed demonstrations and disloyalty, while the rest’s destiny remains unknown.
Meanwhile the Arabist authorities set further aggressive actions, and constraints embodied in besieging the region, breaking into houses and public schoos and disconnecting cthe region as a whole from all means of transportation and communication.this assault erupts a mortifying violation of basic human rights.
All of these take place in coincidence with the launching of vaccuma, calls forthe uptodate morocco, recompence and reconciliation, the country of rights and law the democratic transition, human development …yet such mortifying recent events mark the blackest point of imazighen history in the 21st century morocco.
